The Primamateria label represents one of the alchemic symbols for quicksilver. The word "Prima materia" which means first matter, is also an alchemic concept. Alchemists believed that, before the creation of the Universe, there was a "prima materia", matter without shape and time.

Usually 50% Sangiovese and 50% Merlot, however, this depends upon the vintage.
